About Us

Graduation 2012
After completing our BSc Equine Science Degrees with First Class Honours and being fascinated by Parasitology we decided to use our knowledge to help horse owners with their worming dilemas. By visiting your yard we will be able to discuss your requirements and answer any questions you may have.
We are both registered with AMTRA as J-SQPs which enables us to give advice on worming horses. We are required to keep up to date with all worm related matters and undertake continued professional development (CPD) to achieve this. Attending the FWEC Masterclass at the Moredun Research Institute in Edinburgh formed part of the required CPD.

We are always looking to improve our knowledge and keep up to date with the latest scientific findings. In 2013 we attended the BEVA Conference held in Manchester and spent a whole day at the School of Tropical Medicine at Liverpool University. Our visit to Liverpool provided us with some valuable techniques in refining the sensitivity of the standard worm egg count test. These techniques will be very useful when looking at low egg counts and checking for resistance
